OFF WITH A FLYING START

The journey towards defending the crowns won last year at all levels in the Inter Patrol Scout Competitions have just began. In the just concluded Kilindini District Scout Competitions, We (Bandari Scouts)represnted by Blue Six Patrol-Sungura, Shark Patrol-Chipukizi and Indian Ocean Patrol-Mwamba; emerged winners in all the three categories. Our teams, together with Mafuta Sea Scouts Mwamba Girls Patrol, and another Chipukizi Girls team shall be representing the District at the Coast Provincial Competitions that are due to be held between 15th and 19th of June in at a venue to be confirmed later.

Last year we emerged the best both nationally and at the Eastern Africa Zonal level. This means that we have to work even harder to ensure we maintain the good performance. With the Dream of representing the country at the zonal competitions in Morogoro Tanzania come December, the boys have the motivation they need and the leaders are committed to providing the best possible quality training in scouting and many other aspects of life.

To our sponsor, the Kenya Ports Authority, we have always been and will continue to be grateful for their support. We have a Dream and we know we will Achieve it with the help of God because here at Bandari Scouts, "We are Prepared".

"Hard work may take you to the top, but you need character to remain there"
